Evil Masters Part 2

Sifleda (Siff LE duh)

A female goblin, Sifleda is cruel but largely dispassionate. Her only interest seems to be the persuit of magical studies. She has been wooed by every male goblin in the group, except Hlotheri, but seems either uninterested or oblivious to their advances. She and Hlotheri do not like each other in the least and both are constantly trying to show up the other's magical abilities. You have no idea why she is part of this particular group. She has never volunteered that information and no one has been brave enough to ask her. She has a female slave that is obviously at least part elvin, named Merewyn. She will beat her on occasion, almost absentmindedly, as a person would shoo a fly.

Kaefax (KI uh Fax)

Kaefax is a very strange goblin warrior. He wears no armor and fights with a very strange looking weapon consisting of a curved blade projecting sideways from a short handle. He often fights with no weapon at all. Despite this, he seems to be nearly as effectve as the Osuiu or Goblo Fehr. Kaefax is quiet. When does speak, it is usually to make calm, but dire predictions. He takes no sides in any arguments among the other members of the party, but it is clear that he does not like Osuiu in the least. His human slave is a slight human male named Gwitram. While he rarely beats his slave as such, he regularly uses him as a practice dummy.

Evil Masters Part 1

Here is a little information about some of the evil masters.

Hengralin (HEN grawl in)
A conniving, scheming, dispasionate cleric of Maglubiyet, he seems to be using the group as some sort of stepping stone in some grand plan. He tries to assert control over the group, often conflicting with Hlotheri. He has a pretty, young blond human slavegirl named Jewel. Hengralin often tries to tempt other goblin's male slaves with implied rewards in the form of his young slave but, so far, has never followed though on the perceived promise.

Hlotheri (LOTH er eye)
A small, frail goblin with obvious magical abilites, he is the opposite of Hengralin - reckless, destructive and impulsive. Despite this, he has some type of ability to get other goblins to follow his lead. He is often at odds with Hengralin, whose careful planning is intolerable to Hlotheri. Hlotheri has a female slave named Scarralin, who has at least some elvin blood in her.

Osuiu (Ah su WE oo)
Osuiu is a warrior, though more quick than strong. He weilds a strange glowing sword that seems to materialize whenever we wishes it to appear. Osuiu is as unstable as Hlotheri. He jumps around, leaping and hollaring and laughing during combat, regardless of whether he is winning or loosing. While he is an ally of Hlotheri, he seems to be in it just for the killing. He has a tall wirey slave named Eral Vader, whom he seems to notice only when beatings are in order.

Goblo Fehr (Gob Low FEAR)
Big by goblin standards, Goblo is a self-absorbed warrior. He fights with a large battle-axe but he also carries around an even larger axe that he keeps trying to learn to use, but with little success. When he bothers to take sides, he usually sides with Hengralin over Hlotheri. He obviously hates Osuiu. He has a man-mountain for a slave named Rothez-ash that he beats repeatedly for no obvious reason.

More new minis

I got another box of minis. There were a couple duplicates - the mean guy with the axe and the little dragon soiling my yard.

But I also got these

What is he pointing at?

This guy?

Or this guy? He looks helpful.

Or maybe this chick?

Probably this.

and he's thinking "aw crap."

More Background Information

Racial Makeup

Races
The most common master race is Orcs, about half the population. Orcs maintain the highest social status, effecively a ruling class. Goblins are the next most common, making up perhaps a quarter of the population. They seem to have settled for being second place, though it is common to hear goblins make disparaging racist remarks about orcs when there aren't any around. Kobolds are the only other large population and sit at the bottom of the social scale. Many are only slightly better off than well kept slaves. Kobolds are almost all peasants. The rest of the population is made up mostly of bugbears, ogres, hobgoblins and an occasional giant. There are also a small number of Bladelings among the master races. They serve as some type of elite police force. All the other races seem to be afraid of them.

The majority of slaves are human, about 75%. Humans are hardy and breed faster than the other races so they make ideal slaves. Most of the rest are halflings and gnomes. There are some jobs that are well suited to their smaller stature. The few kobolds rich enough to afford slaves like to have gnomes and halflings since they are as small as kobolds and easy to bully. Dwarves are rare. They are too stubborn to make good slaves. Half-orcs are also rare (they are also effected by the donva curse), though many of them end up in gladitorial arenas. There are very few half-elves. They generally try to pass themselves off as human. Orcs distrust their long lifespan. Elves are the rarest of all. Very few elves survive in captivity, and even fewer ever have children. If you are not playing an elf, it is unlikely that your character has ever seen one.

Languages
Having grown up as a slave to a goblin, I will assume that everyone can speak goblin fluently. I will also assume that you can understand and speak a small amount of orc. However, the common human language never died out. It is often spoken between slave races, but NEVER in the presence of someone from a master race. It is a sure way to get whipped.
